Meet Poppy Hahn. She's rumored to have been made completely of glitter glue, safety pins and spray paint, but can act surprisingly semi-human sometimes, and even socially acceptable! She's seventeen, a junior, and still identifies as Canadian despite her citizenship in America. In one word she could be described as confident, or self-destructive, crazy...

Poppy is a violinist, a legit maniac, and a synesthete. While her mental handicap may make her very advanced at things like music and linguistics, it doesn't make having close relationships with people easy. She finds it hard to talk to people in regular situations, finding that she has said the wrong thing or made someone incredibly uncomfortable. Hell, she can barely talk to someone if their voice is 'wrong'. Romantically, she needs someone who is understanding and very patient- you'd have to be, taking care of Poppy is a full time job. She identifies loosely as pansexual, being gender blind she has long since given up trying to distinguish between male and female and whether she preferred one or the other. Her friends have to be equally understanding and patient, but also have to share her radical sense of adventure and love of trouble. Enemies, however, are not easily made. Unless you've really got it out to hurt Poppy, she'll resist trying to kill you and concentrate on your good points. When she does hate someone, though, things can get pretty intense. She's not called a Maniac just for fun, after all.
