Madison Isabella McKellen sighed when she walked into the house after getting the mail from the mailbox that she had forgotten to get the night before. As she sat down on the couch, waiting for her little girl to awaken, she thought back over the last few days. She had been using a babysitting agency for the last week that she had been at Evra High School and unfortunately it wasn't working. With projects that the teacher's assigned and school and just other stuff, she couldn't be home at precisely the same time every day. The babysitting agency also had babysitters that were not good with her daughter. Lilly-Anne McKellen, Madison's pride and joy, needed someone that she could play with, someone who would play with her, someone who would have fun watching her have fun. Unfortunately the babysitting agency that she had hired so far had no one that Lilly-Anne had gotten along with. Every babysitter they had sent had been an old gray haired woman who looked like they would have been better suited to work in a bank than with an active five year old. All of them had worn skirts, their gray hair up in a bun, and closed toe heels. As soon as Madi had opened the door she had known that it wasn't going to work out, but being the person she was she gave it a chance.
However after the 5th babysitter had gone by and there was no one that herself nor Lilly-Anne liked, she was starting to think things were hopeless. She had no idea how she was going to deal with this. She was only allowed to take her child to class with her 2 days a week and that was because those teacher's were allowing it. The school had told her when she first came to Evra High School that she had to get the teacher's permission individually if her child was allowed in that class or not. So she had done what was asked of her and unfortunately 2 days were all she was allowed.
Luckily though, today was one of the days she was able to take her daughter to school with her. As she was already dressed and ready to go, as soon as Lilly-Anne they could get ready and head out the door. She didn’t have class for over 2 hours but she liked to get there early so she wasn’t in a rush. So while waiting for her little one, she simply drank her cup of coffee and read the paper.
Wondering if she would ever be able to act like a normal teenager again.
