and i've been roleplaying for a two years. i'm seventeen years old, and i found you through my advertisement. as you can see, i enjoy using k stew as a play-by. oh, and if you want to see what i can do, check out the role play sample. yeah, i'm awesome. i know ! [/blockquote][/blockquote]` I DARE SAY THAT I'VE HEARD OF YOU BEFORE. REMIND ME AGAIN, WHAT'S THE NAME YOUR PARENTS GAVE YOU, ANY SIGNIFICANCE ?- - - - - So I was christened Cora Marie Taylor. My mother named me Cora for a major reason. My aunt was never able to have children of her own, and she always wanted to name her daughter Cora. My mother honored her and named me Cora for her. She was extremely happy. I'm glad my mother did that, and I like making my aunt happy. I like the name too. It's pretty, and it's simple. It isn't something someone hears and then asks, 'How the hell do you spell that?!' I'm glad I don't have to worry about things like that. It draws too much attention to me.
` REMIND ME AGAIN, WHEN WERE YOU BORN ? I CAN NEVER GET ENOUGH OF THE STORY SURROUNDING YOUR BIRTH.- - - - - Well, I'm sixteen, and I was born September 13th. I was born earlier than expected. My mom always jokes that I'm impatient as a result of my quick and early birth. I tend to rush into things, and she teases me about that too. I was a bit of a complicated birth. My mother had to have a C section to get me out safely. I'm just glad she was okay too. I love my mother. I was born here in California, and that's a good thing. I didn't have to move anywhere. I hate being the new kid and center of attention.
` YOU LOOK FAMILIAR, HAVE I SEEN YOU AROUND SCHOOL ?- - - - - I'm a junior, and school is okay for me. I don't really like it, but I'm a good student. I do pretty well, and homework doesn't keep me tied down. The only thing I do like about school is the fact that I get to see my friends. They make me like school more than I would.
` MAYBE IT WAS JUST AROUND. WHERE ARE YOU FROM ?- - - - - My hometown is here: California. I really like it, and like I said, I didn't want to move anywhere new. I hate being the center of attention, and whenever someone new came to school, everyone bothered them. I'm so glad that wasn't me.
` OKAY, BE HONEST HERE. WHICH ARE YOU IN TO MORE: GUYS OR DOLLS ? DON'T WORRY, MY LIPS ARE SEALED.- - - - - I'm definitely straight. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with bisexuality or homosexuality. That's fine, and it doesn't bother me. But personally, I couldn't imagine being with any girls. I've only been attracted to guys.
` ALRIGHT, ON TO THE GOOD STUFF. WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME ? ANY FAVORITE PASTIMES ?- - - - - I have a lot of things I like to do. First off, I love to read. It's my escape from the rest of the world. I try to find books with characters I can identify with. I also like music. It helps me vent, and sometimes it helps me calm down. I can really use it to describe how I'm feeling. Probably my favorite pastime is hanging out with my friends. They can always make me laugh and cheer me up. They always have something planned, too. Another hobby I really like to do is art. I'm not the best at it, but I love to paint. It's freeing, and it makes me feel relaxed. I love it.
` TELL ME: WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE THINGS IN THE ENTIRE WORLD ? THINGS THAT JUST MAKE YOU WANT TO SMILE.- - - - - Well, like I said before, I like reading, music, my friends, and art. Those are definitely high on my list. Another thing I like is the sun. Actually, being outside too. I love nature, and I love the feeling of the sun on a nice day. Movies are a big thing for me. Sometimes my friends and I quote lines and laugh about it. I love writing too. I also use it to express myself, like art. Oh, and I absolutely love animals. They're so cute and funny. I love my family too. I have to spend some time with them every day. They're very important to me, and they help me through my problems.
` AND SADLY, WE ALL KNOW THERE ARE THINGS WE JUST CAN'T STAND. WHAT ARE YOUR'S ?- - - - - One thing I hate is having too much alone time. Don't get me wrong, I need time to myself in a while, but I can't be alone for too long. It freaks me out a little. Also, even though I love movies, I hate horror movies. I hate getting scared, especially when I watch a horror movie. Those things make me scream and jump, and then I can't sleep. I don't like bugs either. Who does? They crawl and are just too gross. Maybe it's a little childish, but I can't help it. Oh, the one thing I think I dislike the most is being the center of attention. I hate when people stare at me, or give me funny looks. I get so embarrassed. I blush and sometimes I feel nauseous. Ugh, I despise that. I really don't like being lied to. I feel so betrayed after, and I can't ever trust that person again once they've lied. Once a liar, always a liar. That's my motto. I can't stand video games. I know, surprise surprise. I mean, I just don't see how people can stare at a t.v. for hours and hours, staying almost completely still. I need to move around and be outside. Get some fresh air, you know? I don't really like being bored either. I need to have something to do. Sometimes I go insane if I have nothing to do. I so can't stand needles. They're so terrifying. I always faint when I get blood taken. Needles make me jump. Speaking of that, I don't like doctors either. I always think they're going to diagnose me with some disease, or say everything's fine and then it turns out it's not. I guess I'm just paranoid. I wish I wasn't. I think I'm just a weird kid.
` ANY SHORT OR LONG TERM GOALS ? WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN FIVE YEARS ? IN TEN ? HOW DO YOU PLAN TO GET THERE ?- - - - - The future? Well...my mom always told me I need to go to college, so I guess after high school I'll go off to college. I guess I'll get married and maybe have kids, but I don't know. First I have to worry about getting to the next grade. I do want to travel though. I might take a year off of college to do that.
` WHAT MAKES YOU QUAKE IN YOUR BOOTS ? IF YOU HAD TO PICK ONE THING THAT HAS SCARED YOU THE MOST, WHAT WOULD IT BE ?- - - - - Ha. I'm scared of a lot of things, actually. I have a fear of dying. I don't know why, but I'm always worried that something will happen to me. I think maybe it's because I don't know for sure what's after this life, so I don't know where I'll end up. I'm also terrified of the dark. I see so many movies where something jumps out and grabs the person, and it's always in the dark. They're always alone too, which is why sometimes I get scared if I'm alone for too long. I also hate bugs. Anything that crawls scares me. Well, except ladybugs and butterflies. But I can't stand spiders and beetles.
` IS THERE A SIGNIFICANT OTHER IN YOUR LIFE ? HOW DO YOU DO WITH RELATIONSHIPS ?- - - - - Ahem. Well...I've never been in a relationship before. I do have a crush on this one guy. He's a senior. I'm pretty sure he doesn't even notice me, so it's useless. His last name's Oakes. I've talked to him a few times, and he's great. But like I said, he doesn't notice me. Sometimes I think it's better that he doesn't. I'm sure he could find a prettier girl to date than me.
` NOW, YOU KNOW THAT I ADORE YOU, BUT LET'S TALK ABOUT SOME OTHER PEOPLE FOR A BIT. A LITTLE BIRD TOLD ME THAT YOU HAVE SOME PRETTY EXTRAVAGANT PARENTS, TELL ME ABOUT THEM.- - - - - Amber Grace Taylor, 44, interior designer
David William Taylor, 47, sheriff
My parents are divorced. They did it when I was really young, and I stayed with my mom. I went to see my father for holidays, and I even visit him sometimes when I have free time. Though I wish they had stayed together, I realize they're happy without each other. I have already tried to convince them to get back together, but anyway, I want them to be the happiest they can be. I was okay with my mother dating other people, and for some reason, I never really had a problem with it. They never really fight, and they actually get along a lot better as just friends. I'm scared to get married now, though. I don't want to end up like them.
` DANG. ANY OTHER IMPORTANT PEOPLE IN YOUR FAMILY ? DID YOUR PARENTS HAVE ANY OTHER CHILDREN ?- - - - - I don't have any siblings. I've always kind of wanted a sister, but my parents got divorced before that could happen. I don't think my mom wants any more children. It's okay though. I like being an only child. It's nice, not fighting with any siblings.
` HOW ABOUT PETS, HAVE ANY OF THOSE ?- - - - - Oh I just love animals. I've never had a pet before, and it was a surprise that I got one last year. I got a cat named Ella. She's gray, and she's just a kitten. I've always loved any kind of animal, but cats are just adorable. I love Ella to death, and I would never leave her by herself for too long. She's such a sweetie, and I'll always love her, even when she passes away. I'm glad I have her because I talk to her, and she listens. She won't ever judge me. I like that about her. And she's so fun to watch. The situations she'll get in are hilarious. Once, she tore up one of my mom's shirts. She got in so much trouble, but I managed to bail her out.
` OKAY, YOU HAVE TO HAVE KNOWN THAT WE WERE GOING TO ASK. WHAT'S YOUR BEST KEPT SECRET ? I WON'T TELL !- - - - - Well...I do have one secret. I've never been...kissed before. I've been out on like two dates, and nothing. That's part of the reason why I don't make a move on my crush. And even though I am loud and funny around my friends, I am the shyest person in the world. I can't even speak in front of a class. I'm terrified. I guess that's another secret...but anyway, I can't let anyone find out I haven't been kissed. Everyone I know has, at least once. It's so embarrassing. I never talk about it, and I lie if anyone asks me.------------------------------------------------------------
oh hai there, CARSON HIGH ! my name is cara
Kristen opened the door to the rooftop and peeked out. No one else was there. Sighing and smiling a little, she opened the door all the way and stepped out. The sun was out and shining brightly, and it warmed her skin. She walked out further onto the roof and looked around. It was bare and not so colorful, but it was a nice place to go when you needed quiet time. Kristen hated school a lot. There were only a few select classes that she liked, and homework was such a drag. It wore her down. She was always exhausted after school. She walked over to the ledge and leaned against it. She could see some of the city from here, and it looked amazing. The wind started up, and pieces of her dark brown-red hair blew around her face. She rested her chin in her hands and smiled more. This was nice. She had to do this more often. Maybe when lunch started or when she had study hall or something. Kristen glanced at her watch. She had a good hour before she had to go to class again, so she could enjoy this for a bit.
This was a nice town, all in all. She enjoyed being here, though it was a long way from home. It was on another continent, for crying out loud. But she was glad her family moved here. She'd always wanted to go to England, and now she'd gotten her wish. It had taken her a while to get used to the way things were done around here. The people were very nice though. Kristen closed her eyes and listened to the silence that surrounded her. She enjoyed being somewhere where she didn't have to hear people bustling around and mindless chatter. It was a bit over-whelming sometimes. Times like this were able to keep her from going insane. Everyone needed quiet time, right? She sighed again, breathing in the fresh air. Nothing could worry her now.
She breathed in again and felt herself relax even more. God, she loved this. She felt better than she had in a while. She hadn't realized how much school had stressed her out. Or normal life, for that matter. Suddenly she heard the door open behind her. Dammit, she thought. This was what she needed now. A teacher yelling at her for being up here. Students weren't supposed to be up here. But then why hadn't anyone locked the door? In any case, she winced and sighed again, then turned around, prepared to be yelled at.
