( REGISTERING )

okay, so you can register with whatever name you want, but after that we ask that you change your name to your character’s first, middle, and last name, all in lowercase. it just makes everything look nice if we’re all the same. also, please activate your accounts in a timely manner. otherwise you won’t receive mass e-mails, which could hold some very important information. :]

( APPLYING )

okay, it’s common sense, but be sure not to skip anything on your application. that’s not a good way to impress your admins. also, when posting your app, for the title please use this code: LAST NAME, first name [done/not done]. we like to keep our site looking neat and pretty. when you put a pb on your app, be sure to check the celeb claim and canons first so you don’t use a claimed celebrity. we’re fine with scene kids and myspace pbs, but if a person says they don’t want to be used as a pb, please respect their right and don’t use them. it’s just not nice. if you already have one or two scene kids as pbs, though, if you’re making another character, please use some more variety. there’s plenty of pretty people out there you could use. you can have as many charries as you want, but only make as many as you can keep active.

( ROLEPLAYING )

this site is rated pg-13, in order to keep in line with the proboards terms of service. this means that there may be references to drugs, sex, or violence, but only references; be sure to fade out if your threads are including anything like this. as with swearing, a few words here and there are fine, but don't make every other word the f-bomb. just keep it in line, okay? all posts must be a minimum of 300 words. we understand that everyone has off days with their muse, but that’s really not unattainable. we’ll be a little lenient at first, or if you’re under once in a great while, but if it becomes a problem you will be notified.

( OUT OF CHARACTER )

we hate to have to make it a rule. it really SHOULD be common sense. but…apparently it isn’t for some. RESPECT, people. this includes admins, mods, and ordinary players. everyone needs to just be friendly and get along. roleplaying isn’t fun if everyone’s always fighting and whatnot. this also includes no fighting. if you have a problem with another player, notify an admin and she will take care if it in a proper manner.

( EXTRA INFO )

within a week of being accepted, we ask that you have an avatar and a signature for your character, or one or the other at the very least. if you don’t want to make your own or don’t know how, just ask someone on the graphics board. i’m sure someone will help you out. otherwise head on over to caution 2.0 or some similar site; they have tons of beautiful graphics to help. also, please no nudity in any of the pictures…we’re not a porn site. no hit and run users, either. that’s the most frustrating thing ever. if you’re going to join, then apply and roleplay. it’s just not nice. to ensure that we know you've read these rules, please pm the admin account (username admin, simple enough) letting us know that you have! otherwise your app will not be accepted. advertisements belong only in the advertisement board, nowhere else. if you’re going to be gone for more than…say three days or so, please post in the absence board. we don’t want to delete you if you’re gone during an activity check. and lastly, have fun! that’s what roleplaying is for, right? :]
