REMIND ME AGAIN, WHAT'S THE NAME YOUR PARENTS GAVE YOU, ANY SIGNIFICANCE ?- - - - - "My name, well there isn't much special about it. My parents picked my first name because they wanted something unique, and special. That's where Quinn came from. Personally, I like my first name, it's different yet pretty. Serenity is the part of my name that actually has meaning. Both my parents are recovering alcoholics. The term serenity is an important part of the recovery process, and they had me not long into their program. And that's where I got my name. I guess I like it. It's special. It's me."
` REMIND ME AGAIN, WHEN WERE YOU BORN ? I CAN NEVER GET ENOUGH OF THE STORY SURROUNDING YOUR BIRTH.- - - - - "I was born Feburary 23rd, eighteen years ago. My birth was nothing out of the ordinary. My parents did tell me that right after they got to the hospital, a blizzard arrived. That probably adds to the reason why I love snow, even though I've never really had an oppurtunity to experience it."

I went to the public high school in the next town over, but my parents decided I could get a better education here. I'm doing my senior year here. Hopefully this school is better than my last one. HOW DO YOU PLAN TO GET THERE ?- - - - - "Right now, the most important thing for me is providing for my one year old son. He means everything to me, and I just always want to be there for him. I really want to get through school, and maybe become a professional dancer. I know that goal is hard to reach, especially because Patrick comes first in my life. But I'm going to work hard to continue to do my best in everything I do."
` WHAT MAKES YOU QUAKE IN YOUR BOOTS ? IF YOU HAD TO PICK ONE THING THAT HAS SCARED YOU THE MOST, WHAT WOULD IT BE ?- - - - - "I'm scared of failing Patrick. I'm his mom, but its hard to juggle taking care of him, school, and dance. Sometimes I wonder if I'm even a good mom, or if I'm doing everything wrong. I'm also scared of falling in love. Like, what if I meet a guy and he's amazing but he can't come to terms with me having a kid."
` IS THERE A SIGNIFICANT OTHER IN YOUR LIFE ? HOW DO YOU DO WITH RELATIONSHIPS ?- - - - - "I'm single right now, as the only man in my life is my baby. The only significant man that was ever in my life was...well, you can't tell anyone, but you know Remington Patrick Cohen...that guy that died in the shooting last year. He's Patrick's dad. We got completly wasted at a party one time, and I lost it to him. Then we had a bit of a fling for a bit, and I got pregnant. He was amazing. He helped me through the pregnancy, and he was an important part of Patrick's life...until he died. I miss him a lot, and its hard to think that he's never coming back. We were honestly in love, as much as nobody would believe it. That's what makes me scared of falling for anybody. I'm not looking for commitment with anyone. I don't want to confuse Patrick, and I don't know if any teenager could take on having to care for a child. That's probably why I'm just a big flirt in these parts."

A LITTLE BIRD TOLD ME THAT YOU HAVE SOME PRETTY EXTRAVAGANT PARENTS, TELL ME ABOUT THEM.- - - - - "My mom is Deberoh Ann Cormack-Peters. She's fourty nine, and she's a stay at home mom. She helps out a lot with Patrick. I don't know what I would do without her. My dad is Michael Raymond Peters. He's fifty two and he works for Nestle. He mainly does managerial work, and he sometimes has to leave for work. He's gone a lot, but he's always there for me when I need him and what not."

The official name on my son's birth certificate is Patrick Michael Cohen. Yes, the same one that died last year. I had to transfer out of my old school because no one would look at me anymore. Whenever I turned the corner all I'd see was pity in peoples' eyes. I don't plan on letting people know who I am, or who my son is. I don't want people to know me as "the girl who has the dead kids baby." Remington and I managed to keep our relationship secret, and I plan on keeping it that way for as long as I can. Also, nobody really knows how serious we were. We wanted to be a real family, we were gonna raise Patrick together. Remington proposed to me two days before he died. He was going to marry me, and he, Patrick and I were going to be happy.
